Prehistoric Indian trail on the Devils Peak and Tunnel Hill Quads
This old deer trail once connected the Native American village at Dad Young Spring all the way to the village at Big Meadows (20+ miles). The trail basically follows the north rim of the Rubicon River above its steep canyon side. Many sections are obscure or overlaid with road, but section between the Frey trail and FS 14N22 has been rebuilt by the USFS in 2002.
