Hales Crossing

FS connecting trail crossing the Rubicon above Hales Camp site
This connection trail goes from Hunters trail across the Rubicon and connects with the Old Rubicon trail on the other side. Trail is approximately 1/3 mile above the Hales Camp junction with Hunters. This is the only trail that crosses the river at a shallow place where the river is divided into two channels. Requires wading 12” water during the normal controlled flow from Hell Hole dam. Trail is approximately halfway between Ellicott bridge and Hell Hole dam.
