Flood, Mossy Rock, Bridgeview

From Upper Stagecoach you can extend the your traverse on Flood trail which will go about a mile to eventually climb steeply up to Flood Road, its opposite access point in a residential neighborhood. The shady trail cuts through groves of manzanita and oak trees that practically form a tunnel as you pass through.

Mossy Rock is cool for the old homestead site it passes by. You may enjoy exploring the rock walls and foundations, and notice the Vinca, the sprawling evergreen ground cover that’s a sure sign of earlier habitation by a plant lover. Obviously it needs little care as it slowly but surely takes over the world.

Bridgeview as the name implies get you very close to the much photographed Foresthill Bridge.
