Nice alternative to stagecoach if you’d like to stay high and enjoy the rapturous views that the canyon offers. This trail connects walkers to Flood, Mossy Rock, and Bridgeview trails for steeper scenery. Upper stagecoach is pretty level and has a couple of benches along the way if your looking for a lovely spot to read your newspaper.
Directions: Follow directions to Stagecoach and park at the end of Russell. Upper Stagecoach is the first Left turn about ¼ mile from the trailhead.
The trail climbs away from Stagecoach and follows a traverse to the east with great views of the canyon and its 3 bridges. The trail only goes about a mile to reach other trails.
