This small area 1 mile west of Coloma is practically level and wheelchair accessible. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management and named in memorial for one of their co-workers who died of cancer, it provides easy access to the river. This is a great place to take small children for an easy stroll to study nature. It has a lot of mining tailings and some very interesting rocks formations. Can you find the hamburger rock?
Directions: Located about a mile past Coloma on the Left side going west. Well signed.
